Gary "Angry" Anderson was the one constant in Rose Tattoo for five decades, his voice carrying Australian rock staples such as "Bad Boy for Love", "Rock 'n' Roll Outlaw", "Nice Boys" and "We Can't Be Beaten". The band released eight studio albums between 1978 and 2020. Several weeks before his death he suffered a heart attack during the band's farewell tour in Europe and returned to Australia for treatment, but did not recover. He died on September 21, surrounded by loved ones, at the age of 79.
