Deaths Per Second ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website deathspersecond.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit our site.

We collect minimal data. Deaths Per Second is primarily a content-driven informational site. We do not require user registration, and we do not collect personal information such as names, email addresses, or phone numbers unless you voluntarily contact us, download our free resources, or purchase a product such as the When I'm Gone planner, in which case we collect the email address needed to deliver what you requested.

If you choose "Yes, email me" at checkout, we also add your email address to our mailing list for occasional emails about new resources. We never add you without that choice, and every one of those emails has a one-click unsubscribe link.

When you visit the site, standard server logs may record your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, and pages visited. This data is used solely for maintaining site performance and security.

If you purchase or download one of our resources, your email address is retained by our email provider so we can resend your download link if needed, and payment records are retained by Stripe as required by financial and tax law. We do not otherwise maintain long-term personal data stores of our own.

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
