Tim Curry

Tim Curry created a gallery of gloriously unhinged villains for stage and screen, starting with Dr. Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Show, which he took from London's Royal Court Theatre to Broadway and then to the 1975 cult film. He went on to memorable roles in Clue, Legend, Annie and Stephen King's It, and earned three Tony nominations, including for Amadeus and Spamalot. A stroke in 2012 left him using a wheelchair. His longtime manager said he died at his home in Los Angeles on the night of August 25. He was 80.
